YouTube used to be my go to platform ... but their Ts&Cs allow for AI training (according to YT). So my use is more sporadic and under review.
There's a subset of vocaloid videos on Nico Nico. It's in Japanese. It's different.
Mirlo, Bandwagon, subvert.fm1, Bandcamp2
1 subvert.fm doesn't allow AI but conflates that with Vocal Synths, so no hosting there atm [Oct 2026].
2 Bandcamp isn't strcitly "fair", it's run by a Venture Capital company. But it isn't behemoth platform.
Deezer4, YouTube1, Amazon2, Apple3, Spotify5
1 Specifically, they train AI on creators' content. There's a court case (at least one) to challenge this. [Oct 2026]
2 Evidence and the removal of diversity support. Becuase that's all sorted now?
4 Not that I'm earning from Dzr ... but I like that they use UCPS (User Centric Payment System) rather than pro-rata (which favours major artists)
5 Where to start. People have written books about them.
